About the teacher: Bonnie Colby finds Heart Rhythm Meditation an indispensable tool for creating positive change and is honored to be teaching others this method. She has practiced meditation under the guidance of senior teachers for over 25 years. Bonnie helps people apply Heart Rhythm Practices to meet everyday challenges, to accomplish their goals and to fulfill their ideals for their own lives and for the world. Dr. Colby has been a university professor since 1983, specializing in water resources and environmental management. She is the author of seven books on these topics and has worked with dozens of governments, businesses and non-profit organizations concerned with resource conservation, conflict resolution and environmental justice. She appreciates the enhanced optimism, vitality and creative problem-solving that Heart Rhythm Meditation brings to her work and her life.
In addition to offering weekly Heart Rhythm Meditation classes in Tucson Arizona, Dr. Colby offers workshops, seminars and conference presentations worldwide on applying Heart to personal and organizational development, as well as to address collective challenges related to water and the environment. Recent travels and presentations include Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, France and many North American locations.
